If you are an American citizen you can sponsor your spouse (Husband and wife) in two different ways to stay with you in United States of America. They are:-
1) Immigrant visa for a Spouse of a U.S. Citizen (IR1 or CR1)-Form 130 is required.
You can call your spouse if you are legally married to your foreign spouse or in cases of polygamy, only the first spouse may qualify as a spouse for immigration. Common-law spouses may qualify as spouses for immigration purposes depending on the laws of the country where the common-law marriage occurs.
Eligibility to sponsor your foreign spouse:-
2) Nonimmigrant visa for spouse (K-3) who married a U.S. citizen-It must be filed and the visa must be issued in the country where the marriage took place-Once the visa is issued the spouse can come to USA while the immigrant visa IR1 or CR1 is being processed- Petition for Alien Relative, Form I-130; and Petition for Alien Fiancé(e), Form I-129F is required
Non immigrant visa can further be categorized into two. They are:-
Nonimmigrant Visa for a Spouse (K-3)
Nonimmigrant Visa for a Fiancé (e) (K-1)
Let me start by saying that these guys are awesome - professionals, agile and they know their stuff. It took me just 3 months to get my Australia PR from the time they started working on it ( could have even been lesser if I was a bit prompt in document submissions). Kirti Chauhan who has been my case manager was extremely knowledgeable and diligent in the process which ensured that no documents are referred back by Immigration. Being process centric and knowledgeable, she ensured that stuff happened on time and right the first time.I surely recommended Visa Avenues for all the work that they do.

Visas Avenue is one of those companies that come by pleasant surprise unexpectedly. I picked them off google and gave them a ring offhand, 10 months back. Ankita convinced me that I was on the right track and kick-started my formalities within a couple of days. Thereafter their Client relationship manager Ruchika Sharma has been guiding through the nuances of the PR petitioning process at every turn. Though they worked out of Delhi and I out of Bombay, there never was any need to ever meet in person. The communiques and responses were always time and i never had any reason to complain. So cheers and i hope they extend the same professionalism going forward as well.
I can sum up their services in just one word - Incredible!!! It was such an amazing experience ever since the time I planned to give it a go with Visas Avenue. To be very honest, I was extremely skeptical while deciding upon a consultancy that could help me with Canadian Permanent Residence. The team briefed me through the whole procedure and then put me in touch with my Case Manager , Ruchika Sharma ( undoubtedly one of their BEST Case Managers I could say) , from New Delhi office. She has been assisting me in all respects since Day 1 , till the time my Visa was confirmed. Well, the service they offered made the otherwise tedious and potentially confusing process , rather seamless. Recently my PR was confirmed. Thanks again to Ruchika and whole of the Visas Avenue Team for their assistance and profound support.
We worked with Shivangi Arora at Visas Avenue for our Canadian PR and had a successful and rewarding experience. Shivangi came across as a consummate professional in the whole process and is knowledgeable about all the procedures including finer details. Her attention to smallest of the details when we were filing for PR and guidance in having all the documentation in the required format helped us get through the process without any hiccups whatsoever. Applying to PR is a long procedure and all our queries on procedures were quickly resolved thanks to her short turn around time. We thank the Visas Avenue team and Shivangi in particular for handling our case with patience for over an year. We recommend working with Visas Avenue for anyone trying to go through the PR application process.
