Professors, Research Scholars and other people with the similar education can travel to USA on a short term basis to deliver lectures, observe, consult or demonstrate their skills at research institutes, museums, libraries, post-secondary accredited academic institutions or similar types of institutions. In United States of America.

To be eligible as short term scholar you must:-

Be a professor or research scholar or someone with similar education and or experience.

To be eligible as sponsor you must:-

Screen and select the scholars to carry out and participate in the program.
Monitor the visitor stay in United State and assist in case of need.
Ensure that the participant is performing his duties for which he was granted a visa under this category.
Maintain Sevis record.
Ensure that the participants and the accompanying family members are covered with complete health insurance.
Have sufficient funds to support the accompanying family members.
