Essential Skills Work Visa

If you have a job offer letter from New Zealand then you can apply under essential worker visa category which allows you to work temporarily (up to 3 years and can be extended up to five under specific conditions)n New Zealand.

This category is based on the positive assessment of the Qualification, work experience and the job duties mentioned in the Australian and New Zealand Standard Classification of Occupations (ANZSCO).

Requirements:-

• You must demonstrate your skills, qualification and work experience are in synchronization with the requirements of the corresponding ANZSCO code.
• You hold good moral conduct and health.
• Your employer must demonstrate the shortage of skilled personal under specific job category amongst the New Zealand citizens or permanent residents in three ways mentioned below:-

1. The employer can request an approval in principle from us to recruit overseas workers. This will have been done before you apply for a work visa.
2. The employer provides the proof as part of your application process.
3. The occupation may be listed on one of the Essential Skills in Demand Lists(present on the government official website).

In order to get approval in principal the employer must be able to show that they have genuinely searched for the suitably qualified and trained New Zealand workers by explaining that particular job specifications are necessary for the work for which for which New Zealand applicants are neither suitable nor can be trained.

Fee:-

1. Band A New Zealand (GST inclusive)-270 NZ$/230 NZ$.
2. Band B Australia-230 NZ$
3. Band C Rest of the world-270/230 NZ$.
