Immigration South Australia has temporarily closed application system for state nominated visa categories, i.e. Subclass 190/489 under General Skilled Migration (GSM) with effect from 24th June 2019 (09:00 am). This temporary closure has been announced in order to complete system updates for the new program year. However, the closure of these two popular visa categories is temporary and application system for both is likely to open again in first week of July 2019.
The Business Migration Program of South Australia has reached its quota for the 2018-19 financial year. As per Immigration SA has announced that it has met the Federal quota of Subclass 188 and 132 business nomination approvals for the financial year 2018-19.
In last few years, the number of applications submitted and approved for the South Australian Business Migration Program, has been increasing considerably. And this financial year was no different in that context.
(Note: Subclass 892/893/888 and 132 review applications will continue to be processed, as they do not count towards the Federal quota given to South Australia.)
The business nomination applications vide Subclass 188 and 132, which have already been submitted, but not processed, will get processed from 1st July, 2019, i.e. when the Federal quota for South Australia gets renewed. However, the online application system shall stay open, and will continue to accept business nomination applications.
