The growth of skilled jobs in Australia is likely to remain positive in the last quarter of year 2016. The key reason behind this is the industries in Australia are not taking much of the pressure due to political or economic ambiguity.
The fact revealed in the latest survey done by Manpower employment outlook
This fact is revealed by the latest survey done by the Manpower employment outlook. In this survey, about 18% of the employers from private and public sector have shown the intention to enhance their workforce till the end of 2016. Whereas, the 75% mentioned that they are not interested in making any change to their present staff.
As per the survey findings, the NEO (Net Employment Outlook) was +11%, which is five percent up from the last year during same period and two percent up compared to last quarter this year only.
Employers are unreceptive toward economical and political instability
The Managing Director of Manpower Group Australia and New Zealand has said the survey results indicate that the employers are exceedingly unreceptive towards the economic and political instability that has been in news throughout the year.
As per him, it seems that uncertainty nationally or internationally has become the usual in the new era, especially for the employers. Moreover, despite the recent and forthcoming events, i.e. Brexit, Federal elections, more reduction in the interest rates, and employment growth in Australia is likely to remain upbeat in the last quarter of the year. What it indicates is that the industries and organizations have now got a knack of remaining unaffected from the political or economic issues, which was also visible around the last quarter as well.
Which are the industries likely to offer good opportunities?
As per the survey the industries, i.e. finance, transport, insurance, utilities, real estate are expected to provide the significant employment opportunities and maintain a good hiring pace towards the end of this year. Particularly, transport and logistics industry are the ones that will provide good options to the job seekers. Among other sectors, construction and mining too have shown the good signs of growth and expansion.
