SINP raises the Application Intake for its Occupation in Demand (OID) & Express Entry sub-categories

Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP) - the largely popular Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) of Saskatchewan, Canada has raised the application intake limit for its key sub-categories. This intake will be applicable this year only, which means, we may see increased number of applications invited for provincial nomination through the keys sub-categories of SINP

Saskatchewan raises the application intake for OID and Express Entry subcategories

Saskatchewan has made significant rise in the application intake limit of its International Skilled Worker (ISW) - Occupation in Demand subcategory and ISW- Express Entry Subcategory. Hence, the increased number of applicants will be invited in 2017 under both these sub-categories.

Lets take a look at the extent of application intake increase under express entry and OID streams:

The maximum number of applications under International Skilled Worker- Express entry subcategory has been increased from 1,700 applications to 2,600 applications, whereas, the maximum application intake under ISW- Occupation in Demand subcategory has been increased from 3,000 applications to 3,300 applications. In terms of percentage, the express entry intake has been increased by 53 percent, while the Occupation in demand subcategory intake has been increased by 10 percent. Total 900 applications have been added in the express entry subcategory intake, while 300 applications have been added in OID subcategory intake.
