SINP opened its EOI based draw & Revised Occupation List as well on 1st May 2019

Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP) launched its latest EOI (Expression of Interest) based draw on May 1, 2019. The new draw of SINP invited total 202 candidates under Occupation in Demand and Express entry subcategory. The province of Saskatchewan has also revised SINP in Demand Occupation list on same day, i.e. Wednesday (1st May 2019). Let's find out more details about the current SINP draw.

Saskatchewan EOI Based Draw on May 1, 2019

In the 1st May draw, Saskatchewan issued 202 invites under OID and express entry stream. Out of the total issued invitations, 121 were sent to Occupation in demand category. Also, 81 invites were issued to the applicants under Express entry subcategory. The lowest ranked candidate in case of both the subcategories had the score of 67 points.

Also, the province issued 114 invitations to apply for provincial nominating under its Express entry subcategory with qualifying marks being 60 points.

SINP occupation list Revised on 1st May 2019

The provincial government of Saskatchewan has revised the SINP occupation list on May 1, 2019. The province has removed one occupation, i.e. Conference and Event Planners from the list. Now, just 19 occupations are remaining in the latest SINP Occupation list 2019. The list was updated last on 17th April 2019, when the province removed the 4 occupations making it the list of 20 occupation only. The individuals applying for provincial nomination through OID or express entry subcategory of Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP) needs to have their occupation listed in the updated SINP occupation list.

EOI based System of SINP

August last year, Saskatchewan introduced new EOI (Expression of Interest) based system of accepting applications for both Express Entry and Occupation in Demand category. As per the new system, the applicants need to first submit their EOI profile in the Saskatchewan online system and subsequently the province will assess the submitted profiles and invite the selected ones to apply for the provincial nomination. Now, the SINP has held multiple EOI based draws since August 2018.
