The popular immigration program of Canadian province Saskatchewan, i.e. Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP) reopened on January 4, 2017 to accept 500 new Applications under its International Skilled Worker- Occupation in Demand sub-category. However, as was expected, it got capped instantly, i.e. within few hours of opening. Though, the occupation in demand sub-category of SINP always gets closed within a day, however, with the speed it got closed this time around was point of discussion among the candidates.
The Quota of 2500 Applications still left to apply in the year 2017
Though, SINP didn’t get time to react most of the potential applicants of occupation in demand sub-category, however, those who couldn’t apply this time around, don’t need to be disappointed as they still have chance to get registered for SINP in the year 2017. The SINP has the quota of 3000 applications for its International Skilled worker- Occupation in Demand sub-category for the year 2017 and with 500 applications closed already on January 4, 2017; SINP still left with the total of 2500 applications this year. Hence, if you are interested in applying for the Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP) occupation in demand sub-category, you must be ready to apply in its next application intake this year.
How SINP- ISW- Occupation in Demand Sub-category works?
The SINP-Occupation in demand sub-category has been designed for those skilled workers who have skills and experience to get employed in the highly in demand occupations in the Canadian province Saskatchewan. The occupation in demand sub-category provides a few relaxations as well to the applicants. For instance, it doesn’t require Canadian job offer from the applicants.
The candidates first need to choose their occupation from the Saskatchewan in demand Occupation List and subsequently apply in the SINP. The applicants selected under occupation in demand sub-category becomes eligible to receive the nomination certificate from the Saskatchewan, which interns makes them eligible to apply to IRCC for permanent residency in Canada.

The Express Entry Subcategory of SINP re-opened on January 4, 2017 to accept 500 new applications. Much like the Occupation in demand sub-category, the express entry sub-category of SINP also got capped within few hours of re-opening.
