SINP- Express Entry Subcategory is open to accept 400 New Applications

The Express Entry subcategory of popular PNP, Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP) is open to accept 400 new applications from the applicants. The International Skilled Worker (ISW) - Express Entry subcategory of SINP is open for those applicants who are registered already in federal Express Entry system and secured their place in the express entry pool.

SINP- Express Entry Subcategory is open

The ISW- Express Entry Sub-category is quite popular among the foreign skilled worker looking to get PR in Canada. Let’s find out who can apply in this particular category.

The EE subcategory of SINP is open for those foreign skilled worker who,

  • Wish to live and work in province of Saskatchewan in Canada
  • Are already registered in Express Entry Pool of Immigration Refugees and Citizenship Canada.
  • Fulfil the criteria of the Express entry Stream of SINP.

Hence, if you meet the parameters and requirements for SINP –express entry stream, you can apply in the same.

Note: All the applications received through upcoming application intakes of SINP- Express Entry Sub-Category, need to include the Educational Credential Assessment (ECA) from a designated body with effect from December 27, 2017. The ECA is a document that verifies your qualifications obtained outside Canada.

Eligibility Requirements

You are eligible to apply in express entry subcategory of SINP if you live outside Canada or legally residing in Canada, but not a refugee claimant. Also, if you,

  • Are registered in Express Entry Pool with an Express Entry profile Number and Job Seeker Validation Code.
  • Have scored minimum of 60 points out of 100 on the SINP point assessment grid .
  • Have submitted valid language proficiency level test from a recognized institution.
  • Have finished your post-secondary education, training or apprenticeship which is equivalent to the Canadian education system of minimum 1 year period. It must have got you a diploma, certificate or degree.
  • Have an educational credential assessment (ECA) from a designated organization for the degrees or diplomas acquired outside Canada, as per list of recognized organizations of IRCC.
  • Have minimum one of the following in your field of education or training occupation:
    • 1 year work experience in the past ten years in a skilled profession (non-trades);
    • 2 years’ work experience in a skilled trade in the past 5 years or
    • 12 months work experience in Canada in the past 3 years (trades and non-trades).
  • Have work experience in a high skilled occupation in the NOC skill level "A", "B" or "0" as per SINP In-Demand Occupation List.
  • Present evidence of Professional Status or Licensure (for regulated occupations or those with professional certification standards in Canada and/or Saskatchewan) if required for your occupation. (In case the evidence is needed, your application will be held for processing till the time such proof is given
  • Have proof of settlement funds as well as a settlement plan.
