Saskatchewan has updated its In Demand Occupation List for Key SINP streams

Posted - 04, Jul 2018

Saskatchewan has updated its in demand occupation list on July 3, 2018. The list is applicable to international Skilled Worker - Express Entry and Occupations In-Demand sub-categories of SINP (Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program). SINP has removed few occupations from the SINP in Demand OccupationList, while few more occupations have been added too. Let's take a look at key SINP sub-categories, for which the SINP list is applicable.

International Skilled Worker - Express Entry

An applicant first need to register his/her profile in Federal Express entry System to apply in this stream of SINP. The candidates, who apply and get selected in EE-subcategory of SINP, receive provincial nomination from the province of Saskatchewan. As a result, the applicant becomes eligible to get 600 additional CRS points in federal Express Entry System. The additional 600 CRS points make sure that the applicant receive ITA (Invitation to Apply) for Canada PR from IRCC (Immigration Refugees and Citizenship Canada) in the subsequent draw of federal express entry system.

Occupations In-Demand sub-categories

The SINP - OID subcategory doesn't require any job offer from the applicant, which is a great relaxation for any Canada PR applicant. Moreover if you apply and get selected in SINP - occupation in demand subcategory, you will get the provincial nomination, which enables you to apply Canadian permanent residency directly to IRCC (Immigration Refugees and Citizenship Canada).
