Saskatchewan Added 5,000 immigrants to its Population in the second quarter of 2016

As per the latest report from Statistics Canada, Saskatchewan- A major Canadian province has added 5000 new residents to its population in the second quarter of year 2016. The total population of the province is now 1150,632.

Out of total new residents, a large part is of foreign immigrants. As per the report, out of total 5,314 new residents in the Saskatchewan, 4,388 individuals are from outside Canada.

As per statistics Canada, the current upsurge in population is the biggest in a single quarter since 2013. The population of the province has taken a real jump, as it was 1,132,263 in July 1, 2015. However, the people who have migrated from Saskatchewan have landed in either Ontario, Alberta or British Columbia.
