Quebec's new web portal, i.e. 'Arrima' is now open for creating EOI profile for Quebec Skilled Worker Program (QSWP). With effect from September 18, 2018, Arrima is now active for the individuals looking to apply Canada PR through QSWP. As an applicant, you can submit your Expression of Interest (EOI) on the online portal, if looking to immigrate to Quebec province of Canada. New Arrima portal for QSWP applicants
Last month, the Quebec government introduced new EOI (Expression of Interest) system for Quebec Skilled Worker Program (QSWP). Earlier, it used to accept the applications from the candidates based on first come, first served system.
However, now applicants need to register their EOI profile on Arrima system and submit the necessary information with regards their profile, i.e. age, language ability, area of training, work experience, etc. The applicants who meet the MIDI criteria, will get invitation to apply for CSQ (Quebec Selection Certificate).

Eligibility requirement for new EOI system of QSWP
There is no cap limit for the accepting the EOIs in the system for QSWP, which was there in first come, first served system. Moreover, the applicant must me minimum 18 years of age to create EOI profile on Arrima. To be considered for CSQ invite, you need to achieve the minimum qualifying marks for selection factors as well as for employability as per QSWP points assessment grid.

However, not much information has been revealed by Quebec government with regards to selection criteria or process of the QSWP new EOI based system.
How new Arrima web portal will work?
The applicants will create EOI profile in Arrima and enter required details. First of all, the candidates will have to wait in the virtual pool or waiting room until they get the notice to access the online portal. Once access is received, applicants will get 90 minutes session to enter the details. The applicants are advised to keep saving the information, as the information can lose once the session expires after 90 minutes.
The registered applicants will get 30 days to complete their profile. The profile registered shall remain valid for a year just like federal express entry system. Howefer, applicants will get the access to update their EOI profile with any new information or to update the existing information during the period of one year. Selected candidates will get 90 days to submit complete application for CSQ (Quebec Selection Certificate). Once received, Quebec Selection Certificate, makes you eligible to apply Canada PR directly to IRCC.
