Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) Update this week (17-05-2021) A Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) has become key pathway to apply for and obtain the ITA (Invitation to Apply) for Canadian Permanent Residency (PR) in 2021. The Immigration Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) is opening the program-specific draws for PNP and Canadian Experience Class (CEC) category, which has raised the importance of PNPs off late. The Express Entry aligned stream of PNPs help applicants increase their total CRS score.

Two British Columbia PNP draws

British Columbia, Canada opened two draws of British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP) on May 11, 2021 to invite 379 candidates registered for Skilled Worker and International Graduate categories of British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP).

Recently, the BC has started the trend of opening the two draws for its Provincial Nominee Program (PNP). It opens one regular and one separate draw for NOC 0621 and 0631 occupations.

Ontario invites the candidates in latest draw

In the latest draw of Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP), opened on May 11, 2021, Ontario has issued invitations to candidates registered for Employer Job Offer: Foreign Worker Stream.In the new draw, the OINP has targeted the candidates with a score of 31 and above. In addition, the candidates needed to have work experience in some key national occupational codes (NOCs).

Alberta PNP Draw

Alberta revealed the details of its 5th May AINP draw. In this latest draw, Alberta, Canada invited the 250 candidates with a lowest CRS (Comprehensive Ranking System) score requirement of the year, i.e. just 300 points. Now, Alberta has invited 1659 candidates this year in nine draws of Alberta Immigrant Nominee Program (AINP).

Manitoba opened the draw for MPNP

The latest draw of Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP) held on May 6, 2021. Manitoba, Canada issued 150 Letters of Advice (LAAs) to apply for provincial nomination to the candidates registered under Skilled Worker and International Education streams of Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP).

Saskatchewan PNP draw

Saskatchewan conducted its latest Expression of Interest (EOI) based draw on May 6, 2021 to invite 259 candidates to apply for provincial nomination. It invited the candidates registered for its key subcategories, i.e. Express entry and OID (Occupation in Demand) sub-category.

BCPNP Tech Pilot draw

British Columbia issued 84 invitations to apply for provincial nomination in the latest Tech Pilot draw of British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP). The new Tech Pilot draw occurred on May 4, 2021. British Columbia has issued invitations to Skilled Worker and International Education streams of British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP).
