IRCC has launched many express entry draws and like last year created some records as well. The record in waiting is the record for inviting highest number of candidates in one calendar year in the history of Express Entry System. By the end of this year, we may see it breaking. However, despite the mammoth draws throughout the year, there wasn't any noticeable change in the qualifying marks or CRS score requirement from Immigration Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC).

Record invites without any deduction in qualifying marks

IRCC is on the verge of creating new record of highest invitations in a year for 2018, however, one would be surprised to know that it hasn't achieved this feat by reducing the cut off marks for the selection of candidates. In fact, the cut off has remained stable all through the year, with occasional change of few points in couple of rare draws.

CRS Requirements in 2018

Overall, the CRS score Requirement has been quite stable right through the 2018 till date. It was just contrary to the draw results in 2017, when there was massive downfall in qualifying marks noticed. In fact, it dropped down to its lowest mark, i.e. 413 CRS points as well last year. Now all eyes are on the upcoming Express entry draw, i.e. the 2nd draw of the November month.

What are the expectations from the new Express Entry Draw?

Last express entry draw was indeed a little disappointing for the applicants. In last draw, in spite of giving any respite to the express entry applicant, IRCC increase the CRS (Comprehensive Ranking System) Score by 7 points to make it 449 points. It indeed is 3rd highest CRS score requirement from IRCC this year. By no means could this increase in point's requirement have pleased the applicants in the recent EE draw results. As we are heading toward the end of the year, applicants have very high hopes of seeing immigrant friendly draw results from the IRCC.
