NBPNP- Express Entry Labour Market Stream open for IT Professionals & other Occupations

The Express Entry Labour Market Stream of New Brunswick Provincial Nominee Program (NBPNP) is open for IT and some other occupations. The NBPNP is the popular Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) of Canadian province New Brunswick. It operates in agreement with the federal government of Canada, which authorizes New Brunswick to nominate fixed number of people for Canadian permanent residency ever year.

The applicants who have their profile registered in federal express entry system (under Federal Skilled Worker category) are eligible to apply in Express Entry Labour Market Stream of New Brunswick Provincial Nominee Program (NBPNP). The applicants interested in applying in new NBPNP- Express Entry Labour Market Stream require to submit complete EOI (Expression of Interest) to New Brunswick Provincial Nominee Program. As per provincial government, the NBPNP has temporarily opened the EOI process for the applicants, who have work experience in any of the below New Brunswick priority occupations:

PLEASE NOTE:The New Brunswick Provincial Nominee Program (NBPNP) istemporarilyopeningthe Expression of Interest(EOI) process to applicants who have attended an information session in the previous 24 months (since January 30, 2016) and who also are in one of the priority occupations listed below:

  • Database analysts and data administrators (2172)
  • Computer programmers and interactive media developers (2174)
  • Information systems analysts and consultants (2171)
  • Computer network technician (2281)
  • Cooks (6322)
  • Restaurant and food service managers (0631)
  • Accounting technicians and bookkeepers (1311)
  • Managers in health care (0311)
  • Retail sales supervisors (6211)

Temporary Opening of EOIs

However, to be able to submit the EOI for the Labour market stream of New Brunswick Provincial Nominee Program (NBPNP), an applicant need to meet the eligibility parameters, i.e. ECA, valid and present language program, appropriate work experience, enough funds, etc. New Brunswick will announce the closure of the temporary opening of Expression of Interests, once the quota of applications allocated to the province reaches to its limit. Once present temporary opening for EOIs is closed, the province will only accept the Expression of Interests from applicants presently working in the province or who have an employment offer from the employer in New Brunswick.
