Canadian province Manitoba has begun the New Year 2019 in style by issuing staggering 626 Invitations in latest draw of Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP) held on 17th January 2019. The province has issued all these invites under its three different streams. The MPNP is one of the most popular provincial nominee programs of Canada that operates in coordination with the IRCC (Immigration Refugees and Citizenship Canada) and get the annual nomination allocation from the federal government like nine other provinces.

Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program held its first draw of the year 2019 on January 17 to invite 626 candidates under its three key streams, i.e.
Out of the total number, 394 Letters of Advice to Apply (LAA) issued to the applicants under Skilled Workers Overseas Stream, which include sun stipulated number to the candidates registered in the federal Express Entry system and who submitted the EOI (Expression of Interest) profile with the Manitoba PNP.
Stream wise Allocation of LAAs
Manitoba issued about 232 Letters of Advice (LAAs) under below streams of the MPNP, i.e.
Moreover, the PNP issued 200 Letters of Advice to the applicants under Skilled Workers in Manitoba stream with qualifying marks as low as 650 points. It is meant for qualified temporary foreign workers as well as foreign student graduates working in the province and have been offered a permanent employment. Also, 32 invites issued to International Education Stream applicants.
Manitoba PNP also issued the letters of advice to Skilled Worker Overseas category applicants, who have a relative in the province of Manitoba or the experience of working in the province. However, these candidates required meeting the language proficiency requirement as well as needed to have at least 6 months latest work experience in an in demand occupation of the Manitoba province.
The minimum qualifying marks for both the mentioned categories were 575 points. Moreover, 27 more candidates got invitation under the Strategic Recruitment Initiative of Skilled Workers Overseas category with qualifying marks being 727 points.
MPNP - EE Stream benefit
The express entry stream of MPNP has the access to Express Entry pool from where it notify the applicants. These candidates are registered under three key categories of Federal EE system, i.e. Federal Skilled worker (FSW), Federal Skilled Trades (FST) and Canadian Experience Class (CEC).
The applicants who get selected under EE stream of MPNP get the additional 600 CRS points in EE system, which consequently, help them grab the invitation to apply for Canadian permanent residency from IRCC.
How to go about it
The applicants interested in applying in the MPNP - EE stream, need to register a separate EOI profile with the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program. Such registered profiles get the point score from the MPNP based on some key factors, i.e. English/French proficiency, qualification, work experience in high demand occupations in the province of Manitoba, etc. The selected applicants are invited by the province of Manitoba to apply for provincial nomination.
