Latest Nova Scotia Draw - PNP Focused on Auditor & Accountants with CRS Scores 400 to 450

Nova Scotia Nominee Program (NSNP) held its latest draw on January 24, 2018 to issue invitations to the candidates in Express Entry pool. This was the special draw of NSNP that focused mainly on the express entry candidates with NOC 1111 Occupation (financial auditors or accountants).The candidates with CRS Score 400 to 450 got the invitations under Labour Market Priorities stream of Nova Scotia Nominee Program.

Nova Scotia PNP Draw Held on 24th January

The latest Nova Scotia PNP draw invited the candidates under Nova Scotia Labour Market Priorities Stream. This key stream of the PNP select the applicants registered in the Express Entry System, who fulfil the labour market needs of the province. The applicants who get the Letter of Interest from the province of Nova Scotia can apply in the Labour Market Priorities of the NSNP for provincial nomination.

This time around the province has invited those applicants to apply for nomination for Canadian PR, who have got work experience as financial auditors or accountants.

Requirements to apply in NSNP-Labour Market Priorities Stream

To apply in the Labour Market Priorities Stream of NSNP, you need to
  • obtain a Letter of Interest in your Express Entry account, from the (NSNP) Nova Scotia Nominee Program
  • submit your application within 30 calendar days of the date when you got the letter
  • fulfil minimum work experience requirements of the Express Entry stream for which you have qualified;
  • Show enough funds to effectively establish yourself and your family in the province of Nova Scotia and to bear the expenses for immigration and travel expenses;
  • have legal status in your country of origin
  • Fulfil eligibility parameters in place when you are issued a Letter of Interest.

Who received Invite in the current NSNP Draw?

Although, the express entry profile of the express entry candidates remains valid for 12 months, however, this time around the NSNP only selected the applicants who submitted their Express Entry profiles on or after July 1, 2018, and had a CRS score 400 and 450, along with the other basis parameters.

Here are the key things the express entry applicants needed to have in the 24th January draw:

  • A bachelor's degree OR have completed a program of 3 or more years at a university, college, trade or technical school, or another institute.
  • Language proficiency in English or French with CLB score of 7 or higher in all four abilities of the language
  • Letters of reference from employers to show the evidence of a at least 5 years of work experience in NOC 1111 occupation
