Latest Express Entry draw- Will IRCC Persist the decline in CRS score? The September has been an incredible month for the federal Express Entry immigration System of Canada- the maple leaf country. In September 2020, IRCC (Immigration Refugees and Citizenship Canada) issued whooping 12,600 ITAs (Invitations to Apply) for Canadian Permanent Residency.

The other positive thing that pleased the applicants was the consistent fall in the CRS (Comprehensive Ranking System) score requirement in last two Express Entry draws. However, the big time question here stands, will the IRCC sustain this decrease in the upcoming draws.

Will CRS Drop in upcoming EE draw?

The IRCC has invited total 78,350 candidates in total 31 Express Entry System draws held this year. For last two EE draws, the IRCC (Immigration Refugees and Citizenship Canada) is reducing the CRS score requirement for the candidates to get the ITA (Invitation to Apply). The CRS score requirement was 475, 472, 471 in last three EE draw.

CRS Score Draws Chart Sep 2020

Hence, the applicants and experts are quite positive about the next EE draw results. As per the Express Entry pool status on September 28, 2020, there are 9,854 candidates in the pool with the CRS score between 461 and 470. Hence, there are reasons to stay positive about the fall in the cut off in the next few draw of EE system.

Considering the annual invitation target of EE system, i.e. 91,800, the IRCC is yet to invite 13,450 candidates in the remaining draws this year.

PNP pathway for Canada PR

The candidates waiting for the ITA since long also have option to apply in a PNP (Provincial Nominee Program) and obtain the provincial nomination. The nomination received from a PNP makes an applicant eligible to get 600 additional CRS points in Express Entry System.

The rise in the point score, makes you eligible to get ITA (Invitation to Apply) to apply for Canadian PR in the very next draw of EE system.
