PNPs will be the key pathway to obtain Canada PR in months to come

Provincial Nominee Programs (PNPs) of Canada are going to be the main pathways to get Canadian permanent residency in next few months, considering no reduction in the CRS (Comprehensive Ranking System) score by IRCC (Immigration Refugees and Citizenship Canada). IRCC has made no real reduction in the CRS score requirement this year. The cut off marks remained 440 CRS points or above in all the EE draws of 2018.

Hence, applicants with relatively low CRS score are left with no other option but to obtain provincial nomination by applying in the appropriate Provincial Nominee Programs, i.e.

  • British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BCPNP)
  • Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP)
  • Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP)
  • Alberta Immigrant Nominee Program (AINP), etc.
