The much awaited 5th express entry draw of the year has been finally launched by IRCC (Immigration Refugees and Citizenship Canada) on March 14, 2018. The draw has launched after a delay and hence, was a point of discussion for the applicants for last one week. The applicants selected in this draw will get the invitation from IRCC to apply for permanent residency in Canada. Let's take a look at the key findings of this draw.
5th EE draw of 2018
Here are the key details of the present EE draw:CRS score requirement crossed 450 Mark first time in 2018
The qualifying marks or CRS score requirement has been increased first time beyond 450 mark by IRCC in the year 2018. The qualifying marks earlier this year were hovering around 442 mark. In fact, last time, qualifying marks crossed this mark in December 6, 2017.
However, it is interesting to observer that the number of invitations issued by IRCC are yet again 3,000. This trend is being maintained by the IRCC (Immigration Refugees and Citizenship Canada) for last 3 draws consecutively now, i.e. the IRCC issuing 3,000 invitations for Canadian Permanent residency to the registered applicants in Federal Express Entry System.

What will be the consequences of current EE draw results?
The current Express Entry draw is not the routine EE Draw by any means. It is special in view of many observations. First of all, first time IRCC has raised the qualifying marks after a long time. Secondly the pattern being set by IRCC for the number of invitations. And last but not the least, delay in the launch of the current or 5th Express entry draw.
Hence, this draw is going to have considerable impact on the upcoming draws of federal express entry system. We may see some key things happening, i.e. it has been seen that when an EE draw gets late, IRCC follow that draw with the quick 2-3 draws. Moreover, one more thing we may expect in the coming draws is the increased number of applicants invited. Having said all this, IRCC is quite unpredictable when it comes to EE draw results, hence, anything can happen.
