The Express Entry Stream of Saskatchewan is open again for Canadian Immigration

visas default image The Canadian province of Saskatchewan has reopened its Canada Immigration PNP (Provincial Nominee Program) for the sub category International Skilled- Express Entry under SINP (Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program). The program is re-opened on 21st July, 2016, to accept 700 extra applications.

The Nominated Candidates bound to receive ITA

The total SINP quota of applications for this particular sub category has also been raised this year. The applicants nominated in the SINP upgraded stream will get the additional 600 CRS (Comprehensive Ranking System) points in the Express Entry System and subsequently shall become eligible to receive the ITA (Invitation to Apply) from CIC.

The candidates interested to apply under the International Skilled Worker –Express Entry- sub category of SINP, must hurry as there are only 700 applications to be expected and the track record of this particular program says that it gets capped very quickly.

Eligibility Conditions

This particular sub category is applicable to the candidates:

  • Already in Express Entry Pool
  • Fulfill the criteria of any of the three categories of Federal Immigration Program, i.e. Federal Skilled Worker, Federal Skilled Trades, or Canadian Experience Class.
  • Meet the criteria of SINP International Skilled Worker Express Entry sub category
  • Proficient in English or French language
  • Accomplished 1 year post secondary education or equivalent training, which has resulted in certificate, degree or diploma or similar trade certificate verified through ECA that the same is at par with Canadian Education System
  • Having required work experience, i.e. 1 year of work experience in the last 10 years for skilled profession/ 2 years of work experience for skilled trade in last 5 years/ 1 year of skilled work experience in the last 3 years in Canada (trades and non trades). The experience needs to be in the in demand occupations (see below) in Saskatchewan.
How to Apply
  • The candidate needs to submit his profile online to the Express Entry System of CIC (Citizenship and Immigration Canada), and subsequently should get accepted in Express Entry Pool
  • Now apply in SINP for getting nominated. Attach all requisite documents and forms along with the application. If you get selected, the SINP will display the information regarding your nomination in Express Entry System and subsequently send you the letter of nomination describing the further steps
  • Once the SINP has entered your nomination details in your Express Entry profile, you will be allocated additional 600 CRS points for nomination under EE System. Consequently, you will receive an ITA from CIC, and afterwards, you will have 60 days to apply for the permanent residency in Canada.
