IRCC opens early Express Entry Draw on 19th December with a Drop in CRS score Requirement

visas default image The IRCC (Immigration Refugees and Citizenship Canada) has launched the early express entry draw this time around on 19th December 2019 to invite 3,200 candidates yet again. It also reduced the cut off or CRS score requirement marginally in the current EE draw. This draw has been launched within just eight days of the last draw, which opened on 11th December. Express Entry draw on December 19, 2019

Find below the results of the latest draw of Federal EE system:
  • The draw is open: The current express entry draw is open from December 19, 2019 to December 20, 2019.
  • CRS score requirement: The CRS score requirement or qualifying marks in the draw is 469 CRS points or above
  • Number of Invitations to be issued: The IRCC to issue a total of 3,200 Canada PR invitations during the draw.
  • Tie-breaking rule:November 14, 2019 at 08:41:33 UTC
The applicants who got the ITA (Invitation to Apply) for Canada PR in this draw require submitting the complete Canada PR application along with the essential documents within 60 days of getting the invite.

Analysis of Current EE Draw

The IRCC has invited 3,200 candidates second time in row. Moreover, the IRCC has also reduced the qualifying marks (CRS score Requirement) marginally by 3 points to make it 469 CRS points this time around. With the current draw, Canadian immigration department now has invited total 85,300 candidates to apply for Canadian permanent residency this year through express entry system, which is considerably higher than the planned express entry invitation target for 2019, i.e. 81,400.
