The Immigration Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) reduced the CRS score requirement (Qualifying marks) in the 24th Express Entry Draw of the year. The draw is launched on October 18, 2017 to invite the top ranking applicants in the express entry pool.
All the applicants achieving the CRS score requirement shall receive the ITA (Invitation to Apply) from IRCC. Let’s take a look at the key statistics of the draw.
24th Express Entry Draw of 2017Find below the 24th express entry draw statistics:
The candidates receiving Invitation to apply from IRCC needs submitting the complete PR application form along with the required documents within 90 days of the receipt of ITA.
General Assessment of the Draw
The draw result has been more or less stable this time around. Although, IRCC reduced the CRS Score requirement, however, it was not huge enough to impact the number of invites in general. The required CRS score was 438 points last time round, which reduced by 2 points this time around.
In the current draw, IRCC invited 44 fewer applicants (total 2,757 invitations) compared to last time. Hence, we can say that draw results were more or less stable in terms of both CRS score requirement and number of invitations issued for Canadian permanent residency.
