Canberra invites 83 candidates in the latest ACT invitation round

In the second ACT (Australian Capital Territory) invitation round of this month, Canberra, Australia has issued 83 ITAs (Invitations to Apply) for Subclass 190 and Subclass 491 Visa. The ACT nomination program is most active one among all state nomination programs. In last few months, ACT is consistently inviting the candidates under few targeted categories, i.e. Critical Skills occupations, Small business owners, and 457 / 482 visa holders.

Small business owners-Under this category, Canberra, Australia has issued only one invitation for Subclass 190 visa with a minimum matrix score of 80 points.

457 / 482 visa holders- The ACT issued just two invitations to Subclass 190 visa, no invitation issued to Subclass 491 visa this time around.

Critical Skill Occupations- Canberra has issued 9 invitations to Subclass 190 visa candidates with a minimum matrix score 115 points (Accounts: 120), while for Subclass 491 visa, Canberra invited 71 candidates with a minimum matrix score of 70 points (accountants: 110).

The minimum score does not give an assurance that an invitation was issued. It may depend on date and time of Matrix submission.

A candidate may not get an invitation, if s/he has an active application in the system; or have received nomination in the past.
