Canadian PNPs continue to invite Immigration Applicants through Regular PNP Draws

visas default image The Provincial Nominee Programs (PNPs) of Canada continues to hold periodic PNP draws and invite the eligible candidates to apply for provincial nomination. This is incredible to see especially when we look at the disruption being caused by the Covid-19 pandemic.

The Express Entry System of Canada is also active and inviting candidates through its periodic draws. However, the active participation of PNPs stands out as they invite the candidates with low point score as well. Let's take a look at most active Provincial nominee programs this year.

Alberta PNP

This is also the most in demand provincial nominee programs in Canada. It issues regular NOIs (Notifications of Interest) to selected candidates. Here are the details of the OINP draw invitations issued this year:
  • 1,440 candidates invited under Human Capital Priorities Stream;
  • 549 applicants got invitations via French-Speaking Skilled Worker Stream
  • 190 invitations issued to the candidates under the Skilled Trades Stream.
The OINP has issued 2,179 invitations so far via its draws opened for different streams. Hence, if you are thinking of immigration to Canada this year, OINP is the obvious choice to consider.

Saskatchewan PNP

Saskatchewan's EOI based system for its Express Entry and OID subcategory offers crucial pathway for obtaining nomination and subsequently getting considered for permanent residency in Canada. Manitoba PNP

Manitoba has also been the most consistent provincial nominee program this year in terms of holding regular draws and inviting the candidates under its skilled worker and international graduate streams.

The Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program has issued total 1,931 letters of advice this year through different MPNP draws.

Nova Scotia PNP

The Labour Market priorities stream and Nova Scotia Demand- Express Entry category B are the most popular streams of Nova Scotia Nominee Program (NSNP). The NSNP has recently held its draw to invite French Speaking Skilled Worker Stream.
