Although, fortnightly Express Entry draw often steel all the attention every month as far as Canada Immigration is concerned, however, by no means, Provincial Nominee Programs (PNPs) take rest from buzz, events and activities.

Last one week has been full of events and activities as far as Provincial Nominee Programs are concerned. Let's take a look at major PNP news and events in last one week.

Ontario masters Graduate Stream Open and Closes quickly

The Masters Graduate stream of OINP (Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program) opened on April 5, 2018, however reached to its intake limit in no time. Within one hour of its opening Ontario Masters Graduate stream closed as it reached the maximum intake limit for the invitation round.

The Masters Graduate Stream of OINP has been designed for the eligible overseas graduates from the Universities of Ontario province. It provides international graduates in Ontario, a pathway for immigration to Canada. Like PhD Graduate stream of Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP), the Master Graduate stream also doesn't require any job offer from Canada. In last intake also, International Masters Graduate opened and closed on the same day, i.e. January 29 as it reached its intake limit on the same day.

Latest BCPNP Draw

In the latest draw of BCPNP (British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program), a total of 58 candidates received the invitation to apply for Provincial Nomination from the province of British Columbia. These invitations were issued to candidates under Skilled Worker and Graduate (IT Sector) category.

The draw occurred on March 28, 2018 gave preference to the applicants, who have job offer in one among the 32 occupations under BCPNP Tech Piolet program.

This programs has been formed to lure tech workers and graduates and help them integrate in British Columbia, while meeting the labour market requirement of the province. The cut off marks were lower compared to last week's draw, which invited workers, graduates, and entrepreneurs outside the tech pilot.

Nova Scotia Invitation Round for Entrepreneurs

In the latest draw of Nova Scotia Nominee Program (NSNP), the province of Nova Scotia issued invitations to total of 23 candidates. The draw for the same was held on March 27, 2018.

Out of the total invited candidates, 22 were invited under Entrepreneur stream of Nova Scotia Nominee Program (NSNP). The one other invitation in this draw was issued to an applicant under International Graduate Entrepreneur Stream.
