As per recently revealed Canada Immigration plan 2018-2020, the Canadian government plans to invite sixty percent immigrants under Economic Immigration Program (i.e. Skilled Workers and Business Immigrants). Usually government reveals annual immigration plan in the first week of November, however, this time around, taking a historic step, the government has revealed a massive 3 year immigration plan from 2018 to 2020.
Canada Multiyear Immigration plan 2018-2020
The government plans to welcome close to one million (about 9, 80,000) new permanent residents by year 2020 as per its multiyear immigration plan. This immigration plan is huge and outlines the immigration to maple leaf country in next three years. Canada is popular worldwide for its soft stand on immigration. At a time when most advanced nations are closing their doors on immigrants, Canada is still inviting a hue number of immigrants annually. The government gradually plans to increase the annual immigration target to 340,000 by 2020. Canada’s immigration plan 2018-2020 is yet another indicator of lenient immigration policy of the government.
