Australia has launched Global Talent Independent program to target highly skilled people from Overseas

Australian government has launched an ambitious immigration program which will focus on inviting the highly skilled and talented people from overseas countries. The Minister for Immigration, Migrant Services, Citizenship and Multicultural Affairs, David Coleman launched the program officially on November 4, 2019. The new program offers an efficient, priority visa pathway for highly skilled and talented foreign individuals to work and live permanently in Australia.

What is Global Talent Independent program?

The Government of Australia pledged last year to make certain that businesses in the country have access to the best and brightest talent from across the globe in order to help grow a stronger economy. Hence, as a step towards meeting this commitment, the Government allotted up to 5,000 permanent places for global talent for the migration program year 2019-20.

The newly introduced Global Talent Program aims for the skilled and specialised people, who are at the top of their field in growth industries and who can offer prospects for businesses, entrepreneurs and individuals to share innovative ideas, skills and experience.The program will be quite useful in terms of transferring skills, encouraging innovation, and generating job opportunities in the land down under.
