April 30, 2019-Ontario and BC Opened key streams of their PNPs

The Provincial Nominee Programs (PNPs) of Canada are key source of skilled immigration in various provinces and territories of the maple leaf country. The PNPs remain active throughout the year through their periodic draws and application intakes. On April 30, 2019, two of the key Provincial programs of Canada opened their key streams for the applicants.

Ontario opens its Master Graduate stream again

The province of Ontario has opened it's Master Graduate stream of OINP (Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program) again for the new registrations on 30th April 2019, however, the stream reached its cap limit immediately. In current intake, the Ontario accepted 667 new registrations, prior to reaching the cap limit for the intake.

The Masters Graduate Stream of the OINP is one of the most popular immigration streams among the foreign graduates (holding Ontario's master's degree) a chance to apply for provincial nomination for the Canada PR (permanent residency).The key benefit of the Masters graduate stream is that it doesn't demand any employment offer from the applicants, from the province of Ontario.

In the first application intake of this stream on March 5, 2019, 333 registrations were accepted and with the latest intake on 30th April the total registrations for the stream have reached to the mark of 1,000. As per the OINP, the accepted registrations this time around will get the confirmation number of through e-filing portal within 3 business days. On receipt of the file number, applicant need to submit the complete application to the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program within 14 days, else the registration will expire.

Tech Pilot Draw of BCPNP

The other key PNP of Canada, i.e. British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BCPNP) has launched its latest Tech Pilot Draw on April 30, 2019. The draw invited total 64 candidates under key streams of BCPNP.

However, the province didn't reveal any details about the number of invites allocation for separate streams of British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BCPNP).
