AITSL to update the Assessment for Migration fees w.e.f. July 1, 2020

visas default image The one of the key Skill Assessment bodies approved by Australia immigration, i.e. AITSL (Australian Institute for Teaching and School Leadership) has announced to revise its assessment for Migration fee with effect from 1st July 2020.

As per AITSL, the applications submitted up to and including June 30, 2020 will have to pay the 2019 fee, as the new fee will be applicable from 1st July. Hence, if you have not submitted your application for skill assessment till now, you must submit the same by 30th June to avoid paying the new/revised fee.

Changes in AITSL Assessment fee

The Australian Institute for Teaching and School Leadership (AITSL) will make changes to the assessment for Migration fees, which includes assessment application fee, appeal, skilled employment statement (SES) and additional copy of assessment outcome fees.

Find below the new AITSL fee structure:

  • Additional Copy of assessment outcome*- is the fee applicable when an additional copy is requested of a certificate with a reference number starting with WAMS.
  • Regarding Goods and services tax (GST) - No GST is charged on any AITSL Assessment for Migration fee. The fees mentioned above are final.

The new fees will be applicable to all applications submitted through AITSL online applicant portal from July 1, 2020 onwards.
