ACT Migration Program 2025

In the Canberra Matrix Invitation Round on January 30, 2025, the ACT invited the highest-ranked Matrix scores in each occupation to apply for nomination. Selection cut-offs depended on the remaining monthly allocation, Matrix submission date and time, occupation caps, and overall demand. Higher demand meant higher required Matrix scores.

Skilled workers seeking opportunities in Australia can consider the 2025 ACT Migration Program. The program prioritizes occupations crucial to the ACT's economy, including IT, engineering, and healthcare. Eligibility requires meeting specific age, skill, and experience criteria, with successful applicants potentially nominated for a Subclass 190 or 491 visa.

2024-2025 Allocation of ACT Nomination Places:

  • Skilled Nominated (subclass 190) visa: 1000 places
  • Skilled Work Regional (subclass 491) visa: 800 places
