Canberra invited 187 candidates in the latest ACT Invitation round

Canberra held the latest invitation round of ACT (Australian Capital Territory) on May 11, 2022 to issue 187 ITAs (Invitations to Apply) for state nomination. Canberra has issued ITAs for the nomination of Skilled Nominated Visa Subclass 190 and Skilled Work Regional (Provisional) Visa Subclass Skilled Work Regional (Provisional) Visa Subclass 491. Find below the details of the latest ACT invitation round:

• Small Business Owners: The small Business owners received just one invitation this time around for Subclass 190 visa.
• 457 / 482 visa holders- This category also received same one invite for 190 visa.
• Critical Skill Occupations – Canberra invited 61 candidates under this category for nomination of 190 visa with a point’s requirement of 85 points (Accounts -120 points). The ACT also invited 48 candidates to apply for the nomination of Subclass 491 visa.

• Overseas Applicants (Critical Skill Occupations) – The Overseas applicants received 4 invitations for Subclass 190 visa in this round around with a points requirement of 90 points. In addition, 72 candidates received nomination invitation for Subclass 491 visa.

Overall, the ACT (Australian Capital Territory) has issued 187 ITAs in this latest round.

Total approvals:  1554 nomination places

• ACT 491 nomination: 1219 approvals  
• ACT 190 nomination: 519 approvals

Remaining Allocation in the program year 2021-2022

Total allocation remaining in this program year:  262 nomination places (159 per month)

• 491 Nominations: 181 (pro rata 110 per month)
• 190 Nominations: 81 (pro rata 49 per month)
