No fortnightly EE draw trend anymore

Earlier, IRCC used to launch express entry draws on fortnightly basis, however, now looking at the past few draws, it seems IRCC is no more following the same trend for opening the draws.

Express Entry Draw Points Chart

If you look at last few draw dates, you fill find that IRCC has not followed the fortnightly draw trend at all. For instance the difference between 19th December and 10th January draw was of 22 days, whereas difference between 10th January and 23rd January (current draw) draw is of only 13 days. It is interesting to note that when day difference between two draw is high, the CRS score requirement increases, due to more people register in the express entry system during the period. On the other hand when difference of days is less between two draws, the cut off marks always drop as lesser number of people find new entry in the system.

Concerned about low CRS Score in Express Entry System?

If you are concerned about your low CRS score in the EE system and not receiving ITA due to the same, you must explore and apply in alternate provincial nominee programs to get provincial nomination for Canadian permanent residency.
