The month of November has been a mixed bag for the express entry candidates in terms of EE draw results. After two unanticipated draw results in the first week of the month (i.e. November 1st and November 8th Draw), qualifying marks dropped below 440 Mark once again. This has left the applicant with no clue as to what will come up in the next draw of federal express entry system.

Lets figure out all the possibilities in this regard in the interest of the eager applicants.

Speculations about Express Entry Draw Timings

It will be interesting to see whether or not the upcoming, i.e. 29th express entry draw will favor the applicants or not. One thing is sure that there wont be any surprises this time around with regard to the frequency of Express entry draw. It has been observed that last few draws occurred (in November) at the non regular timings. Usually Immigration Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) launches its draws on fortnightly basis, however, last few draws didnt follow this trend and occurred in period of a week only.

This might have happened due to one exceptional draw (launched on 1st November 2017) for PNP (Provincial Nominee Program) and Federal Skilled Trade Program (FSTP) applicants only. However, this time around, draw is expected to be on regular time.

Will 29th Express Entry Draw favor the applicants?

Last Express Entry draw launched on November 15 showed the positive signs for the applicants, as CRS (Comprehensive Ranking System) Score requirement reduced once again by the IRCC to 439 CRS points. However, will this reduction continue or IRCC once again raise the requirement of total CRS points.

Well, to see the current status of express entry pool, the possibility of further reduction in qualifying marks is very much on the cards. IRCC has been inviting 2500-3000 candidates for Canadian permanent residency in last few EE draws. Moreover, as of now, there are about 2,256 candidates in express entry pool with CRS score 431-440. Hence, CRS score is expected to be around the same mark in the forthcoming draw of federal Express Entry System.
