List of Express Entry Draws Canada 2015-16

Last Draw Results made applicants eager

The results of 25th draw of express entry this year made thousands of applicants eager for the next draw. In last draw the qualifying marks rocketed up to 786 point, which led the fall of Canadian PR invitations, which consequently shrink to 559 only. This in fact, surprised lots of candidates who were waiting for the qualifying marks to come down in view of the year end.

Before the 25th draw, IRCC was reducing the qualifying marks drastically and consequently, was inviting record number of applicants to apply for PR in Canada. However, they suddenly raise the qualifying marks in 25th draw. Though, IRCC clearly indicated in their draw notification that this draw will only invite the PNP class applicants (i.e. the candidates with provincial nomination), however, it still raise the heart beat of every aspirant of permanent residency in Canada.

The Qualifying marks reduced this time round for FSWP class immigrants

As was expected in the 26th draw (the current draw) of express entry, the qualifying marks reduced again below 500 mark by Immigration Refugee and Citizenship Canada (IRCC), for the other key streams of Express entry, such as,
  • Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP)
  • Federal Skilled Trade Program (FSTP)
  • Canadian Experience Class (CEC)

The qualifying marks or CRS score requirement has been reduced to 497 points, which led to the rise of number of invitations for Canadian PR to 1936. It must have given respite to tens of thousands of registered candidates in express entry.
