The IRCC (Immigration Refugees and Citizenship Canada) has kept everyone guessing about its draw results last year. However, this year, there wasn't much of the chaos or drama about the draw results, as the deviation in the statistics is not much by any means. Both CRS (Comprehensive Ranking System) score requirement and number of invitations from IRCC have not shown any big increase or decrease till now.

Year 2018 has been steady in terms of Express Entry draw Results?

As already mentioned this year, IRCC was able to keep the draw results steady with not much of a change in numbers. The steadiness of the draws can be understood with the fact that for last six express entry draws, IRCC is inviting 3,750 candidates only. Moreover, for last five EE draws, qualifying marks are hovering between 440-442 CRS points.

The express entry candidates with CRS score less than 440 are waiting eagerly for ITA (Invitation to Apply) from IRCC, right from the start of the year. To the utter dismay of most the express entry candidates, the qualifying marks or CRS score requirement from IRCC hasn't come down from 440 mark, this year till date. Likewise, the number of invites from IRCC is stable at 3,750 for last six EE draws now. This in fact, seems to be a predetermined pattern or trend from IRCC to keep the statistics this manner.

What are chances of reduction in CRS score in upcoming EE draws?

This is the question every express entry candidate at the moment. Everyone wants to know whether or not the IRCC (Immigration Refugees and Citizenship Canada) decrease the qualifying marks in the future express entry draws this year.

As per Express Entry pool status on August 16, 2018, there are more than 14,000 candidates in Express Entry pool, who have CRS score between 421 and 440 Points. And all such applicants are waiting for their turn since beginning of this year. A big time question here is for how long IRCC will keep them waiting? Well, looking at the so many applicant in waiting in the EE pool, IRCC will sooner or later have to bring the CRS score requirement down. As of now, the PNPs, new enrolments, etc. has kept the qualifying marks high, however, in the 2nd half, the thing may change and applicants may get something to cheer about.
