The last express entry draw launched on April 19, 2017 has raised the expectations of thousands of express entry applicants having their Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score close to 400 Mark. The CRS score requirement in last, i.e. 10th EE Draw of the year, went down to its lowest, i.e. 415 points.

This in fact, looks very much on the card the way IRCC (Immigration Refugee and Citizenship Canada) went about its business in last few draws of popular express entry system.

IRCC broke all past records or low Qualifying marks in 2017

In the year 2017, IRCC has broken all previous records of low qualifying marks as well as high number of invitations for permanent residency in Canada. Prior to this year, the average qualifying marks, or CRS score requirement, from IRCC used to be around 450-500 points. It remained that ways for most of the time in last two years of express entry existence, i.e. since January, 2015.

However, glimpse of constant reduction in qualifying marks started reflecting in the last quarter of 2016. And in first quarter or 2017, every single express entry draw wrote a new history in terms of lowest ever qualifying marks or highest ever number of invitations for Canada PR.

This year, till the last draw of express entry held on April, 19, 2017, over 35,000 people have received ITA (Invitation to Apply) from IRCC. Almost each express entry draw this year invited beyond 3500 candidates for Canadian PR, which in fact is an incredible thing to happen, considering the last two years performance of express entry system.

What are the expectations from 11th express entry draw?

Well, looking at the number registered candidates in express entry with CRS Score between 401-410 points (about 3611), there won’t be any surprise if CRS Score requirement from IRCC goes down towards 400 Mark. The trend also says that in each EE draw this year, IRCC invited candidates beyond 3500. Moreover, with the lenient policies of liberal government in Canada invitations to higher number of skilled immigrants for Canadian PR is no real surprise. Hence, the applicants with qualifying marks close to 400 points, have got every reason to fancy their chances in the forthcoming draw of federal express entry immigration system.
