Nova Scotia Experience- Express Entry Stream of NSNP?

Nova Scotia Demand- Express Entry Stream

NSNP’s Nova Scotia Demand- Express Entry (Category B) stream is largely popular stream among the nomination applicants, that opens a few times every year and gets quickly capped as well in view of the massive competition among the applicants. The applicant must also be eligible to enter the express entry pool by qualify in any of the three streams of federal express entry system, i.e.

  • Federal skilled worker (FSW),

NSNP Processing Time

Well, the processing time of selected applications can be three 3 months or even more depending on the stream, visa category, etc. you have chosen. Within six months of receipt of provincial nomination, an applicant need to submit application for Canadian PR to IRCC (Immigration Refugees and Citizenship Canada).

Note: The processing time varies based on validity and accuracy of individual applications and documents. Some applications may take longer than estimated processing time if NSNP is waiting for extra documents or for a reply of procedural fairness letter.

Eligibility requirements to apply NSNP

The eligibility criteria depends on the immigration stream etc. you have chosen to apply in NSNP. However, the key eligibility requirements to apply under popular Nova Scotia Demand Express Entry (NSDEE) stream are as follows. The people applying for the category B of the NSNP-express entry stream need to meet following criteria:

  • Applicant must have a profile registered in federal Express Entry system
  • Require having minimum 1 year of skilled work experience in any of the target occupations of the province of Nova Scotia
  • Need to foreign education credentials equivalent to Canada (duly assessed and authenticated by relevant assessing authority)
  • Meet the language ability criteria in English or French, i.e. CLB ( Canadian Language Benchmark) 7 or above
  • A candidate require securing minimum 67 points or more on the points assessment grid of the stream
  • Need to demonstrate enough financial resources to settle in the province of Nova Scotia successfully.
