Eligibility Requirements for Saskatchewan PNP

Ontario PNP has two main subcategories, which are largely popular among the overseas skilled workers. Here are the two main subcategories:

Occupation in Demand Subcategory

This sub-category has been designed for the skilled workers, who don’t have an employment offer in Saskatchewan but are highly-skilled in an in-demand occupation in the province, and also fulfil the criteria of this key stream.

Eligibility Requirements of Occupation in Demand Subcategory

An applicant of this stream, need to pay a non-refundable application fees of $300 online by Visa or MasterCard. It is the final step step to submit the application. As per some key eligibility requirements an applicant

  • Must obtain at least 60 points out of 100 on the SINP point assessment grid;
  • Language ability at least Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) 4.
  • Need to have completed post-secondary education, training or apprenticeship that’s comparable to the Canadian education system of at least one year in length. You must have earned a diploma, certificate or degree with this.
  • For degrees and diplomas obtained outside of Canada, you must have an educational credential assessment (ECA) from a designated organization, as per IRCC’s list of approved organizations.
  • Need to have minimum one-year work experience in the past 10 years:
  • In your field of education or training occupation, and
  • In a high skilled occupation in the National Occupational Classification (NOC) Matrix level “A”, “B” or “0” that’s included on the SINP In-Demand Occupation List.
  • Require showing a proof of Professional Status or Licensure (for regulated occupations or those with professional certification standards in Canada and/or Saskatchewan) if required for your occupation. Please see the SINP In-Demand Occupation List for these requirements. If this proof is required, your application will be held for processing until such proof is provided – all other required documents must be included in your application or your application will be returned as incomplete and your application fee will not be refunded.
  • Require having a proof of settlement funds and a settlement plan.

International Skilled Worker: Saskatchewan Express Entry

ISW- Express Entry sub-category of SINP is meant for the skilled workers who wish to live and work in Saskatchewan and are registered in the express entry pool of IRCC. Moreover, fulfil the criteria of this key stream.

Eligibility requirement to apply in SINP- Express entry subcategory

An applicant of this stream, need to pay a non-refundable application fees of $300 online by Visa or MasterCard. It is the final step to submit the application. As per some key eligibility requirements an applicant

  • Are registered into Express Entry Pool, with proper Express Entry profile Number and Job Seeker Validation Code.
  • Must obtain at least 60 points out of 100 on the SINP point assessment grid .
  • Approved language test result with required level of proficiency (i.e. CLB 7 in express entry)
  • Need to have completed post-secondary education, training or apprenticeship that’s comparable to the Canadian education system of at least one year in length. You must have earned a diploma, certificate or degree.
  • Educational Credential Assessment (ECA) for degrees diplomas obtained outside Canada.
  • Need to have minimum one of the following in your field of education or training occupation:
    • 1 year work experience in the past 10 years in a skilled profession (non-trades);
    • 2 years’ work experience in a skilled trade in the past five years; or
    • 12 months work experience in Canada in the past three years (trades and non-trades).
  • Require having work experience in a high skilled occupation in the National Occupational Classification (NOC) Matrix level “A”, “B” or “0” that’s included on the SINP In-Demand Occupation List.
  • Demonstrate the valid proof of Professional Status or Licensure (for regulated occupations or those with professional certification standards in Canada and/or Saskatchewan) if required for your occupation. Please see the SINP In-Demand Occupation List for these requirements. If this proof is required, your application will be held for processing until such proof is provided – all other required documents must be included in your application or your application will be returned as incomplete and your application fee will not be refunded.
  • Show the evidence of settlement funds and a settlement plan.
