Canada Occupation list 2016

If you wish to apply for Canadian Visa as skilled migrant, you may check your occupation in the Canada Occupation List 2016, effective from January, 2015. The list contains the Skill Type O (Management Occupations).

If you are applying for PR visa in Canada as skilled migrant, your occupation must be Skill Type O, A or B as per the National Occupational Classification (NOC) of Canada. If you are applying for the management position, you may check your occupation in the list below. The list below is subject to modification; hence, you are advised to coordinate with Visas Avenue Immigration expert before applying for the visa based on the list below.

These occupations are either:

Skill Type O (management occupations) or

Skill Level A (professional occupations) or

Skill Level B (technical occupations and skilled trades)

Starting from May 2013 Canadian government has introduced a process of going through the Educational Credential Assessment (ECA) where foreign degrees,diplomas certificates etc are compared with the Canadian credentials to check their equivalence before applying for Federal Skilled worker visa.
Every person who is a primary applicant and has completed their education outside Canada has to undergo Educational Credential Assessment (ECA) before lodging the final visa application
