What is the processing time of Canada Immigration Application?

Well, it’s in fact, difficult to determine the precise processing time as it depends on various factors including:

  • The Canadian Immigration Program you have applied
  • LMIA approval requirement, if the application is based on a job offer
  • Visa office processing the application
  • The verification of your application and supporting documents
  • Whether you need to attend a personal interview or not, etc.

The published processing time cannot be considered for reference for all above reasons. For instance, Express entry System claims to process the application in six months, however, the processing may take longer depending on any of the above mentioned programs.
