Nova Scotia Nominee Program (NSNP) invites the applicants to apply for provincial nomination under different streams, i.e. International Graduate Entrepreneur Stream, Skilled Worker Stream, Nova Scotia Experience- Express Entry stream, etc.

However, when it comes to obtaining the Nova Scotia Provincial Nomination without the job offer, Nova Scotia Demand Express Entry (Category B) is the crucial Stream.

Nova Scotia Demand: Express Entry- Category B- (Closed Permanently)

The Nova Scotia Demand: Express Entry stream aims to invite applicants who have skills to get employed in the local labour market and permanently live in Nova Scotia.

Eligibility Requirements to apply in Category B – Nova Scotia Demand EE

To apply under Category B, you need to

  • Create a profile in the online Express Entry System of the federal government.
  • Have a minimum of 67 points in the Federal Skilled Worker (FSW) Stream, based on age, education, experience, language skills, etc. criteria
  • Have a minimum one year of skilled work experience in one of the target occupations of Nova Scotia province
  • Have Canadian high school credential or comparable to the same
  • Produce evidence of language proficiency in English or French language with minimum Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) 7 score
  • Demonstrate proof of sufficient financial resources to integrate into the province of Nova Scotia successfully.
